Hey there, y’all. Let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout life, ya know? It ain’t always easy, that’s for sure. Like, sometimes you feel like you’re just stumblin’ around in the dark, trippin’ over your own feet. But lemme tell ya, God has a wonderful plan for your life, yes He does!
Now, I ain’t no fancy preacher or nothin’, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. I’ve had my share of ups and downs, more downs than ups, if I’m bein’ honest. But through it all, I always felt like somethin’ bigger was watchin’ over me. Call it what you want – fate, destiny, or just plain good luck. But I call it God.
You see, the Good Book says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11) Now, that there, that’s somethin’ to hold onto when things get tough.

It’s like this, see? God ain’t gonna lay out the whole plan for ya right at the start. He ain’t gonna give ya a map with all the little X’s markin’ the spot. Nope, it ain’t that simple. It’s more like He gives ya a little nudge here, a little whisper there. He puts people in your path, opens doors you didn’t even know were there, and sometimes, He even closes some doors to keep ya from goin’ down the wrong road.
Now, figurin’ out God’s plan ain’t always a piece of cake. Sometimes you gotta squint real hard and listen even harder. You gotta pray, you gotta read your Bible, and you gotta be willin’ to step out in faith, even when you’re scared as a field mouse.
- First thing, you gotta put God first. That means trustin’ Him, even when you don’t understand what’s goin’ on. It means followin’ His commandments, bein’ kind to folks, and livin’ a good, honest life.
- Second thing, you gotta be patient. God’s timing ain’t always our timing. He sees the whole picture, while we just seein’ a little tiny piece. So, if things ain’t happenin’ as fast as you want ’em to, just hold on tight and trust that God knows what He’s doin’.
- And the third thing, you gotta listen to your heart. That little voice inside, the one that tells ya right from wrong? That’s God talkin’ to ya. Don’t ignore it.
I remember when my husband passed, bless his soul. I was lost, I tell ya. Didn’t know which way was up. Felt like my whole world had crumbled. But God, He was there. He held me up, He comforted me, and He showed me that even in the darkest of times, He had a plan for me. And look at me now. Still here, still kickin’, still sharin’ God’s love with everyone I meet.
Now, I know some folks might say, “Oh, that’s just a bunch of hooey.” But I tell ya, it ain’t. I’ve seen God’s hand in my life too many times to doubt it. And I believe He’s got a plan for you too. A wonderful plan. A plan filled with purpose, peace, and joy.
Maybe you’re feelin’ lost right now. Maybe you’re goin’ through a tough time. Maybe you don’t even know what you believe. That’s okay. God ain’t gonna judge ya. He just wants you to turn to Him. Ask Him for guidance. Trust Him to lead the way.
So, how do ya transform your life with purpose and peace, like them fancy folks say? You start by lookin’ up. You start by talkin’ to God. You start by believin’ that He has a plan for you, even if you can’t see it right now. You start by puttin’ one foot in front of the other, even when you’re tired and scared. And you keep on goin’, keep on trustin’, keep on believin’.
It ain’t always gonna be easy. Life’s gonna throw ya curveballs. But with God by your side, you can handle anything. You can find fulfillment in His kingdom. You can embrace the plan He has for ya, and it’s a good plan, a blessin’ of a plan, just like the Good Book says. So, don’t you give up. Don’t you lose hope. God has a wonderful plan for your life, just wait and see.

And remember, it ain’t about the destination, it’s about the journey. It’s about learnin’ and growin’ and becomin’ the person God wants you to be. So, embrace the journey, trust the plan, and never forget that you are loved, you are valued, and you are never, ever alone. God is with you always.
