Okay, so I wanted to make some custom t-shirts. You know, something unique that represents my, uh, “family” (wink, wink). I call it “Crime Family Entertainment,” and yeah, it’s kind of an inside joke.
First, I brainstormed some ideas. What kind of vibe did I want? Gritty? Funny? I sketched out a few things on paper. Think tommy guns, fedoras, maybe a playful cartoon character doing something… questionable. Finally, I settled with very simple design: fedoras, and tommy guns.
Next, I needed to get this design onto a computer. I’m no artist, so I kept it super simple. I used a free online image editor – you know, the kind you find with a quick search. Nothing fancy, just basic shapes and text.

Then came the tricky part: finding a place to print these things. I looked at a few online custom t-shirt places. Some were way too expensive, especially since I only wanted a small batch. Others looked kinda sketchy, like they might disappear with my money.
I ended up choosing a local print shop. I called them up, explained what I wanted (keeping the “crime family” part a little vague, of course). They were cool with it, and the price was reasonable.
I emailed them my design. They sent back a proof, which is basically a preview of what the shirt would look like. I made a few tiny tweaks, and then gave them the green light.
A few days later, I picked up the shirts. They looked awesome! Exactly what I wanted. The print quality was good, the shirts were comfy, and my “family” loved them. Mission accomplished!
