Okay, so today I wanted to try something a bit different, and honestly, a little random. I had this idea to somehow combine “Emily Chan,” “Chicago,” and “Singapore.” I had absolutely no plan, just these three words bouncing around in my head. I figured, let’s see where the internet takes me!
The Start: Total Confusion
First, I just googled “Emily Chan.” Yep, that’s a pretty broad search. Turns out, there are a lot of Emily Chans out there. Who knew?
- I saw some LinkedIn profiles.
- Found a few articles.
- Even stumbled upon some social media accounts.
It was a total mixed bag. So, I needed to get more specific.
Adding Chicago
Next, I typed in “Emily Chan Chicago.” This narrowed things down a bit. I started seeing results that seemed more related to, you know, actual people living in Chicago.
I found an Emily Chan who seemed to be involved in some kind of design work. Interesting! I clicked around on a few pages, trying to get a sense of what she did. Still a bit vague, but definitely more focused than before.
Throwing Singapore into the Mix
Now for the wild card: Singapore. I added “Singapore” to my search, making it “Emily Chan Chicago Singapore.” This is where things got… well, still confusing, but in a different way.
The results were fewer, for sure. I saw some mentions of travel between Chicago and Singapore, which made sense. I found a couple of social media profiles that might have been the same Emily Chan, but it was hard to tell. There was one that had pictures of a person in Singapore, and I checked the about me page. Nothing.
The Result (or Lack Thereof)
Honestly, I didn’t really “achieve” anything concrete. It was more of an experiment in how we search for things and how information is connected (or not connected) online. I started with three random words and followed a little digital trail.
Did I find a specific Emily Chan who lives in Chicago and has a strong connection to Singapore? Nope. But I did learn that it’s surprisingly easy to get lost in the vastness of the internet. And sometimes, a random search is just a random search. It was fun though, a bit like a weird little internet scavenger hunt. Maybe next time I’ll have a clearer goal in mind!
