Okay, so I was messing around online, trying to find some new stand-up to watch. And I was like, “Who are the funniest women out there right now?” So I started digging.
First, I just went to Google. You know, the usual. Typed in “hottest female comedians” and saw what popped up. I got a bunch of lists, some names I recognized, some I didn’t.
My Research Begins
I started jotting down names from a few different sites. Like, I made a quick list on my phone.

- Tiffany Haddish
- Amy Schumer
- Iliza Shlesinger
- Leslie Jones
Then I got smarter
I wasn’t just going by what some random website said. I started looking these women up on YouTube. Watched some clips of their stand-up. You know, to actually see if they were funny, not just, like, popular.
Ali Wong – man, she’s hilarious. Super raunchy, but in a really smart way.
Tiffany Haddish – I’d seen her in movies, but her stand-up is a whole different level. She’s got this crazy energy.
Iliza Shlesinger – I found a bunch of her specials. Watched a few minutes of each. She’s got this whole bit about the “party goblin” that’s pretty wild.
Diving Deep into Comedy
I was looking for people who are funny right now. You have so many tools to check what peoples popular.
So, after all that searching and watching, I definitely have some new favorites. I’m gonna try to find some full specials from these ladies and have a good laugh this weekend. Gotta support funny women, right?
