So, I’ve been on this quest to find out if Walgreens carries NYX cosmetics, because, you know, sometimes you just need that quick makeup fix without going all the way to a big beauty store.
My Adventure Begins
First off, I hit up the internet. I typed in something like, “NYX at Walgreens” into the search bar. I saw some promising results that Walgreens does carry some NYX products. I found that they mentioned things like eyeliners. So, feeling hopeful, I decided to check out my local Walgreens in person.
In-Store Experience
I walked into Walgreens, and headed straight for the beauty aisle. I browsed around, scanning the shelves. And there it was, a small section with the NYX logo! I spotted some eyeliners, lip glosses, and a few other items, just like the search results online said.

I noticed that the selection wasn’t huge, definitely not as big as what you’d find in a dedicated beauty store or on the NYX website. But hey, it was there, and that’s what mattered.
Some NYX History
While I was checking out the products, I remembered reading a bit about NYX’s background. It was started by this cool businesswoman, Toni Ko, back in 1999. She really blew it up, and then in 2014, L’Oral bought it for a whopping $500 million! After that, L’Oral, which owns a ton of brands like Maybelline and Garnier, kept NYX going with its own management.
Price Check
I picked up a couple of things. The prices were pretty much what I expected, no big surprises there. They had this “Hot Fluff” cheek color thing that you can also use on your eyes and lips and the “Opal Stick”, which is like an all-over glow highlighter stick for about $12. Most of the products are made in Taiwan, which is where the founder of Jason Wu Beauty is from.
Final Thoughts
- Did I find NYX products at Walgreens? Yes, I did!
- Was the selection huge? Not really, but it was decent for a drugstore.
- Would I go back for a quick NYX fix? Absolutely.
So, there you have it. Walgreens does have NYX cosmetics, at least in my experience. It’s not a massive range, but it’s definitely convenient for those times when you need something quick and don’t want to make a big trip or wait for an online order. Plus, it’s pretty cool to see how far NYX has come, from being a startup to being part of a huge beauty empire like L’Oral.
