Today, I woke up feeling a bit bored, so I thought, “Why not explore what’s open around here on a Sunday?” I grabbed my phone and started my little adventure.
Searching for Open Places
First, I typed “things open on sunday near me” into the search bar. I scrolled through a bunch of options, and a few things caught my eye. It seems like a lot of restaurants and shopping places are open on Sundays. I found out that many places are open for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. That’s pretty convenient!
Exploring Restaurant Options
Since I’m a big foodie, I started looking at restaurants. I learned about Tanuki COMICHI, a place full of popular restaurants in Hokkaido. They have everything from sushi and soba to burgers. Then, I stumbled upon a list of the top 10 restaurants in Sapporo and even saw some Michelin-starred restaurants in South Korea. It made me realize how many amazing food options there are out there. I even found an estimate that a meal at a mid-range to high-end restaurant in Seoul might cost around KRW 30,000 to KRW 50,000 per person. That’s like USD 25 to USD 42! Seoul seems to have over 110,000 restaurants and 15,000 cafes. Wow, that’s a lot!

Checking Out Shopping Spots
Next, I looked into shopping. Apparently, there’s this huge shopping arcade with about 200 shops. You can find everything from souvenirs to specialty items. It sounds like a great place to wander around and maybe grab a bite to eat while you’re at it.
Making a Decision
After all this searching, I decided to head out and see for myself. I figured I’d start with a nice lunch and then maybe check out that shopping arcade. I mean, who doesn’t love a good meal and some window shopping, right?
My Sunday Adventure
I ended up having a great time. I found a cozy little restaurant and had a delicious meal. Then, I took a stroll through the shopping area and browsed through some interesting shops. It was a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday.
So, that’s how my little Sunday adventure went. It’s amazing what you can discover when you’re just a bit curious and have a phone in hand. I encourage you all to try it sometime – you might be surprised at what you find!
