Okay, so I’ve been seeing these scarf tops all over my social media, and I finally decided to give it a try. I’m not the most crafty person, but this seemed easy enough, even for me.
Finding the Right Scarf
First things first, I needed a scarf. I rummaged through my closet and found a few options. I had a silky square one that I thought would be perfect. It has this cool, vintage pattern that I love.
The Folding Process
Next, the folding. I laid the scarf flat on my bed. It’s important to get the wrinkles out! I followed these steps, I try my best to discribe:

- Folded it in half diagonally to make a triangle. Easy peasy.
- Held the two ends of the long side of the triangle.
- Wrapped those ends around my back and tied them in a knot. I had to adjust it a bit to make sure it wasn’t too tight or too loose.
- Then, I took the pointy end of the triangle (the one hanging down in front) and either :
- Tucked it into the top of the scarf at my chest.
- or Tied it behide my neck.
The Result
Honestly, I think it is pretty good! It’s a simple way to create a cute top. I can wear it with jeans, shorts, or even a skirt. I’m already thinking about all the different outfits I can create with it. I might even try to find some more scarves at a thrift store to make a few more.
It only took me a few time to create! Give it a try!
