Okay, so I decided to dive deep into the world of Bumble prompts. I’d seen people talking about them, how they can make or break your profile, and I figured it was time to really get to grips with them.
First, I opened up the Bumble app and navigated to the profile editing section. I mean, that’s the obvious starting point, right?
Then, I started looking at the available prompts. Bumble gives you a whole bunch to choose from, things like “My dream dinner guest is…”, “Two truths and a lie…”, “After work, you can find me…”, you get the idea.

I spent a good chunk of time just reading through all the options. Seriously, there are a LOT. I wanted to see what kind of vibe each one gave off. Some felt really generic, others were more quirky and fun.
- “My dream dinner guest is…” – Seemed like a good way to show off my interests.
- “Two truths and a lie…” – This one’s tricky! I wanted to make it engaging but not too obvious.
- “After work, you can find me…” – Felt a bit boring unless I could come up with something really unique.
- “I’m a great +1 because…”-Great way to express my personality.
- “We’ll get along if…”-A perfect method to express the things I like.
I decided to focus on finding prompts that felt like “me.” I didn’t want to sound like I was trying too hard, but I also didn’t want to be boring. It’s a tough balance!
I picked three prompts that I thought I could answer authentically. I avoided anything that felt too cliché or forced.
Next, I started drafting my answers. This was the hardest part! I rewrote them several times, trying to strike the right tone. I wanted to be witty, but not cheesy. Charming, but not arrogant. You know how it is.
I asked a friend to read over my answers and give me feedback. That was super helpful. She pointed out a couple of things that sounded a bit off, and I made some tweaks.
Finally, I saved my changes and published my updated * crossed! It’s all about putting your best foot forward, and I feel like I gave it a solid shot.
