Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “white winter outfits” all over my Pinterest and decided, “Hey, I wanna try that!” It looks so chic and clean, but let me tell you, it’s a bit more involved than just throwing on a white sweater.
First, I dug through my closet. I thought I had a lot of white, but turns out, it’s mostly off-white, cream, or like, eggshell. Not true white. So, that was a bit of a bummer.
I managed to find a chunky white knit sweater. It’s kinda oversized, which is good, because I wanted that cozy vibe. Then I paired it with these white jeans I almost forgot I had. They’re a bit snug, but hey, gotta work with what you’ve got, right?

- Sweater: Chunky, oversized white knit.
- Jeans: Slightly snug white denim.
Next, the shoes. This was tricky. I didn’t want to wear, like, bright white sneakers because that felt too…matchy-matchy. I opted for my trusty, slightly-worn-in white ankle boots. They have a bit of a heel, which I think helps elevate the look a little.
Then came the accessories. I didn’t want to go overboard, so I just added a simple silver necklace and my favorite white beanie. I think the beanie really completes the “winter” part of the “white winter outfit,” you know?
Finally, I stood in front of the mirror. Honestly? It looked pretty good! It’s definitely a statement, and I felt super stylish. I will say, though, I was terrified of spilling anything on myself. Coffee? Forget about it! Red sauce? Absolutely not! This outfit requires some serious caution.
The crucial point of keeping a white winter outfit is that it’s very easy to get dirty, so be careful!
It was a fun experiment, and I’d definitely wear it again, maybe to a nice brunch or something where I know I won’t be around anything too messy. Definitely a learning experience!
