Okay, so I wanted to find some walkable towns near me. I’ve been feeling cooped up lately and just wanted to get out and explore somewhere on foot. Here’s how I went about it.
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up the browser. I just typed in “walkable towns near me,” plain and simple. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what would pop up.
The search results were a mix, but that gave me some ideas. I saw a couple of familiar town names, so I started to make a list of possibilities on a piece of paper. I prefer to get it written down physically, so I feel better.

Then, I went back to check those towns individually. I looked at them more closely and narrowed my list down to like, three places that seemed promising. The weather is also important, so I should check it before I go.
Digging Deeper
- I checked the weather forecasts.
- I picked a day when it was supposed to be sunny, but not too hot.
- Then, I focused on the bus routes, and planned a trip.
I ended up finding a really cute town that I might have fun. It’s all about taking that first step (pun intended!) and just seeing what’s out there.
