Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with finding the perfect everyday handbag, and I stumbled upon House of Harlow 1960. I’d seen Nicole Richie’s style evolution over the years, and I was curious about her brand, specifically the handbags. So, I decided to dive in and see what they’re all about.
First, I started by just browsing online. I wanted to get a feel for the overall aesthetic and see what kind of styles they offered. I noticed right away that there’s a strong bohemian vibe, lots of earthy tones, and interesting textures.
My Deep Dive
- Checked out different online retailers. I didn’t want to limit myself to just one store. I wanted to compare prices and see the full range.
- Looked at customer reviews. This is always a must for me! I wanted to hear from real people who actually owned and used the bags. What did they love? What were the drawbacks?
- Focused my search. I am a sucker for crossbody bags.
- Watched some YouTube reviews. Sometimes it’s helpful to see the bag “in action,” you know? Get a sense of the size and how it hangs on the body.
After all that digging, I narrowed it down to a few potential candidates. I really liked the look of some of their smaller crossbody bags with fringe details. They seemed perfect for running errands or going out for a casual brunch.

Then came the hard part – actually choosing one! I ended up going with a saddlebag style in a beautiful cognac color. It had that perfect blend of boho chic and practicality that I was looking for.
I am so happy that I finally got it. The material is so good and it looks very stylish. I can match it with many different outfits and I am pretty sure that I can use for a long time.
