Okay, so the other day I was just messing around online, and I stumbled upon this whole idea of Japanese horoscopes. I’d heard of Chinese zodiac signs, you know, like the Year of the Dragon and stuff, but I had no clue about the Japanese version. So, naturally, I got curious and decided to figure out what mine was.
What is My Japanese Zodiac Sign?
First, I needed to find out what this whole system was even about. I did some digging, just poking around on different websites. Turns out, it’s very related to the Chinese zodiac, with 12 animals, each representing a year. But there are a differences.
I typed my birth year into one of those online calculators. You know, the kind where you just plug in your info and poof – instant results. I was born in 1993, so I entered * Boom! it is Rooster.

- Rat: Those born in Rat years are optimistic and energetic.
- Ox: Ox are known to be diligent, dependable, strong, and determined.
- Tiger: People born in a year of the Tiger are brave.
- Rabbit: People born in the year of the Rabbit are kind.
- Dragon: People born in Dragon years are full of fighting.

- Rooster:Rooster people born in the year of Rooster are punctual.
- Dog: Those born in Dog years are said to be loyal and honest.
- Pig: People born in a year of the Pig have a beautiful personality.
Then,I spend more times to read about what it supposedly means to be a Rooster. I’m not sure how much I buy into all of this, but it’s entertaining, right? It said stuff about Roosters being observant, hardworking, and courageous.
Honestly, the whole process was pretty simple. It’s just about finding a reliable source that explains the system and then using a calculator or chart to find your sign based on your birth year. I guess it’s a fun little thing to know about yourself, even if you don’t take it too seriously.
