Okay, so I’ve been totally obsessed with “Scandal” lately – not just for the drama, but for Olivia Pope’s amazing style. Seriously, that woman can rock a power suit like nobody’s business. And her jackets? Forget about it. I had to try and recreate one of her iconic looks, specifically, get a similar jacket.
So, my mission began. First, I scoured the internet for pictures, like, a ton of pictures of Olivia in different scenes. I needed to see the details – the cut, the fabric, the buttons, everything. I wanted that classic, sophisticated Olivia Pope vibe.
Finding the “One”
- Step 1: Image Search Overload. I spent hours on Google Images, Pinterest, you name it. I saved so many pictures my phone started complaining.
- Step 2: The Great Fabric Hunt. I hit up my local fabric store, armed with printouts (yes, I’m that person). I felt a million different fabrics, trying to find something that had the right weight and drape. I wasn’t going for a perfect replica, just something with the same feel.
- Step 3: Store search.I tried to find it online or in a shop.
I found one！I am so * fabric felt substantial, but not too heavy.I took it.
I decided to be brave. This was it!
Finally,I got my own scandal olivia jacket! I feel so great and powerfull!
