Okay, so yesterday I was trying to figure out what movies were playing in Whistler, and let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be!
First, I fired up my trusty old laptop. I figured a quick search would do the trick. I typed in something like “movies Whistler” into the search bar, expecting a neat list to pop up.
Well, that didn’t quite happen. I got a bunch of results, some for local events, others for movie reviews, and some stuff that wasn’t even related. It was kind of a mess.
Then I thought, “Maybe there’s a specific cinema website?” I remembered seeing a small cinema when I was walking in the village. I did another search for a cinema In Whistler.
I scrolled through the results. Finally! I spotted something that looked promising – the name of a movie theather, but that was it. No showtimes or anything.
I dug in even futher, looked into social media, and finally after digging and digging, I found that they did list some times.
My Takeaway
It took way more effort than it should have! I realized finding movie showtimes in a smaller place like Whistler isn’t always as simple as it is in a big city. You might have to hunt around a bit.
