Okay, so, I wanted to get every cosmetic in Gorilla Tag, right? And let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey.
Starting Off
First, I started looking around, trying to figure out what cosmetics even were in this game. I found out that cosmetics are basically just cool stuff you can wear, like hats, badges, and things you hold. You buy them with Shiny Rocks, which is like the game’s money. I also learned that some cosmetics are super rare, like, only a few people have them. That made me want them even more, of course!
Getting to Work
I played a bunch, trying to earn Shiny Rocks. I noticed that these cosmetics are released across several different updates during March 2022 which includes March 13, March 17 (Leprechaun Hat), and March 20 (Cherry Blossom * was kind of a slow process, but I kept at it. Then I started searching online, trying to find an easier way. I read something about a cosmetic mod, which sounded interesting. It said this mod had cosmetics from the “Cosmetics Crew,” whoever they are. Sounded cool, though.

Modding Adventures
Then I tried to find this mod. It wasn’t super easy to find the exact one I was looking for. I saw something about a guide for Steam VR users, but I’m not using Steam VR, so that wasn’t helpful. I did find some tips about checking the name of the site sending notifications. I think that was to avoid downloading something bad.
I did see something about a mod that claimed to give you “all gtag cosmetics,” even some super rare ones like “The Admin badge,” and the “creator troop badges”. And there is “The mod stick”, too. That sounded too good to be true, but I was getting a little desperate, haha. Also, I saw some message that are related to other game like Roblox which mentions ways of how to get Robux in Roblox. It is not useful at all.
Taking a Break
Honestly, I got a little frustrated at this point. It felt like I was going in circles. So, I decided to take a break from the mod stuff and just play the game for fun. I noticed the cosmetics were grouped by type, like hats, faces, badges, and so on. There were even color categories, and I saw a lot of pink stuff. I’m not really a pink guy, but it was cool to see all the options.
Back to Basics
After playing for a while, I decided to go back to basics. I just focused on earning Shiny Rocks and buying what I could. It wasn’t as exciting as getting everything at once, but it was still fun to see my collection grow.
Conclusion
So, did I get every cosmetic in Gorilla Tag? Not yet. But I’m still working on it! It’s been a fun experience, even with the frustrations. I learned a lot about the game and the different ways people try to get all the cool stuff. Maybe I’ll find that magic mod someday, or maybe I’ll just keep grinding. Either way, I’m having a good time. If anyone’s got any tips, let me know! I’m always up for a new strategy. And remember, it’s just a game, so have fun with it! I’m gonna go play some more now. Catch you all later!
