Okay, so, I’ve been playing Dragon Adventures for a while now, and I really wanted to get into the whole cosmetic traits thing. It’s pretty cool how you can change up your dragon’s look, you know? So, I did a little digging around and started experimenting.
First off, I learned that you gotta breed or co-hatch dragons to get these traits. It’s not something you can just buy or find lying around. I spent some time hatching eggs, hoping to get lucky. I found out that some special eggs, like the supercharged egg and the cyber egg, have a higher chance of giving you dragons with cosmetic traits. Like, the supercharged egg has a 10% chance, and the cyber egg has a 5% chance. Not great odds, but hey, it’s something.
Getting Started with Breeding
So, I started with just regular breeding. I paired up dragons I thought might look cool together, hoping their babies would inherit some neat traits. I kept track of which dragons had which traits, even the basic ones. It was a bit of trial and error, honestly.

Experimenting with Special Eggs
Then I got my hands on some of those special eggs. I was pretty stoked about the supercharged egg, with that 10% chance. I hatched a bunch of them, and sure enough, some of the dragons came out with some unique traits. I also tried the cyber egg, but that 5% chance is a real pain. Still, I managed to get a few dragons with some cool traits from those, too.
Leveling Up Traits
Now, here’s the tricky part: leveling up those traits. I saw some players with dragons that had all level ten on their positive traits, and I was like, “How do I do that?” Turns out, it’s all about breeding. You gotta keep breeding dragons with the traits you want, and their offspring will gradually have higher levels of those traits. It takes time, a lot of it, but it’s worth it to see those traits maxed out.
The Results
- Inflamed Tail: Got this one from a dragon hatched from a supercharged egg. It looks pretty awesome, like the tail’s on fire.
- Inflamed Head: Similar to the tail, but it’s the dragon’s head that looks like it’s burning.
- Lucky Tail: This one was from a regular breeding, but it took a while. It gives the dragon a cool, shiny tail.
- Error Trait: I did see something about an error cosmetic. And I heard it only can get from the left image. I haven’t got it yet, but I think there may have been a glitch that some people exploited to get it.
I found that Genetic traits also changed stats of your dragon, like fly speed, walk speed. After all these, I think the Dragon Colors/Palette is the most attractive for me.
So yeah, that’s my journey into the world of cosmetic traits in Dragon Adventures. It’s a lot of work, a lot of breeding, and a lot of luck, but it’s pretty satisfying to see your dragons with those unique looks. If you’re thinking about getting into it, just be prepared for a bit of a grind. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
