Okay, so, I’ve been trying to figure out how to make ballet flats work with my style. I saw some stuff online about styling them, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First, I grabbed a pair of black ballet flats from my closet. I wore them around the house to see if they were comfy enough. They felt pretty good, surprisingly. No blisters, which is a major win!
Then, I started messing around with different outfits. I tried them with a pair of skinny jeans and a simple white t-shirt. It looked okay, pretty basic but not bad. I also tried pairing the flats with a flowy skirt and a sweater. This felt a bit more put-together. A little bit more my style.

I also experimented with different types of tights. I put on some sheer black tights with the flats and a dress. It actually looked pretty nice! But I wanted to see if I could make it a bit more interesting, so I switched to some opaque tights. This made the outfit look more suitable for colder weather.
Playing with Colors and Patterns
I got a little bolder and tried some patterned tights. I had these polka dot ones that I thought might be fun. I paired them with a solid-colored dress so it wouldn’t be too much. It turned out pretty cute! I even added a belt to cinch the waist and give it some shape.

Honestly, it was a lot of trial and error. But I learned that ballet flats can be pretty versatile. You can dress them up or down, and tights can add a whole new dimension to the look. I’m still figuring things out, but I’m definitely going to be wearing ballet flats more often. It’s all about finding what works for you and your own style. Just don’t be afraid to mix things up and have some fun with it!
