Okay, so I saw this Taylor Swift belt bag thing, and I was like, “I gotta try that.” So I did a bit of digging around to see what the deal was with these bags.
First, I checked out a few different places where Taylor was spotted with one. Turns out, at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh, they were cool with bags up to A4 size, which is like 21cm x 30cm. But then at Anfield in Liverpool, they were stricter, only allowing tiny A5 size bags or smaller, around 17cm x 30cm.
Looking into it more, I found out the bag she had was this fancy one by Stella McCartney. Pretty stylish, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want to rock the same bag as Taylor?
My Little Experiment
So, I decided to try out a few of my own bags to see how they’d measure up.
- First, I grabbed this old crossbody bag I had lying around. It was way bigger than A4, so that was a no-go for most places.
- Then I tried a smaller one, kind of a clutch. It was close to A5, but a bit too wide. Still wouldn’t fly at Anfield, I guess.
- Finally, I measured this little fanny pack I use sometimes. It was perfect! Smaller than A5, but big enough for my phone, keys, and some cash.
Wrapping It Up
After all this, I realized it’s not just about having the same bag as Taylor, but also about knowing the rules of where you’re going. I ended up using my trusty fanny pack for a concert I went to last week, and it worked out great. It’s a sophisticated upgrade to my collection. No hassle at the entrance, and I had everything I needed right there. So, if you’re thinking of getting a belt bag, just make sure you check the size restrictions first. You don’t want to get stuck at the door, right?
