So, I’ve been trying to figure out if Sephora carries IT Cosmetics, because a friend of mine recommended their CC cream, and I wanted to try it out. First thing I did was, I hopped onto the Sephora website to see if they listed IT Cosmetics as one of their brands, but the site was a little confusing to navigate, and I got a little overwhelmed with all the other brands.
Then, I remembered that IT Cosmetics was bought out by L’Or�al a while back. L’Or�al Luxe Division, specifically. I think it was around 2016 when the deal was finalized. I read somewhere that IT Cosmetics stands for Innovative Technologies, which is pretty cool, and it was started by a lady and some plastic surgeons to create these innovative skincare and makeup products, and have clinical trials to show that they actually work.
Anyway, I called up my local Sephora, and asked them directly if they stocked IT Cosmetics. The person on the phone said they did carry some of the products, but not the full line. They told me that they have some of the popular items, like the CC cream I was looking for, so I was happy to hear that. It was a bit of a letdown that the website didn’t make this clear, but at least I got the answer I needed.
After that, I went to my local Sephora store to check it out in person. I wanted to test out the CC cream and see the other products they had. When I got there, I found a small section for IT Cosmetics, and I was able to try out the CC cream. I also noticed they had some other stuff, like concealers and a few brushes, but I noticed it was not the full line of their products. I also saw that there was a Kohl’s nearby that carried the brand. They actually had some pretty great deals on IT Cosmetics makeup, so that’s something to keep in mind.
In the end, I did find out that Sephora carries IT Cosmetics, but it’s not the complete product line. They have some of the popular stuff, but if you’re looking for something specific, you might have to check a few places or go to their official website. It was a little bit of a runaround, but I’m glad I finally got to try the CC cream.
