Okay, so the other day I was trying to find something new to watch, and I was thinking about that show “The Resort”, which I really enjoyed. I wanted to find more shows that were kind of like it. You know, something with a bit of mystery, some drama, maybe a little bit of thriller mixed in.
So, I started by, you know, just Googling around, typing in things like “shows like The Resort” and stuff like that. I stumbled upon a few articles and lists that people had put together. One of the first things I noticed was that a lot of people were comparing “The Resort” to “The White Lotus”. Honestly, that didn’t surprise me at all. They both have that sort of vibe where you’re watching a bunch of people on vacation, but things are definitely not as they seem, there’s so much going on beneath the surface.
Then I saw some people recommending this show called “Mad Dogs” on Amazon Prime. Apparently, it’s based on a British show, which I didn’t know. I haven’t checked that one out yet, but it sounded interesting, so I added it to my list.
Other Recommendations
I kept digging around, and I found this article that had a huge list, like 24 shows that it said were similar to “The Resort”. Two of them that caught my eye were “Search Party” and “The Afterparty”. I’ve actually seen a few episodes of “Search Party”, and I can see why they’d compare it. It’s got that same kind of mystery thing happening, where a group of friends gets caught up in something they really shouldn’t be involved in.

I spent a good chunk of time browsing through different streaming platforms, checking out the trailers and descriptions of the shows that were recommended. It was kind of overwhelming, to be honest, there are just so many shows out there.
Anyway, I made a big list of shows that sounded promising. I’ve started watching a couple of them. It’s been a fun little project, trying to find shows that give me that same feeling I got when I was watching “The Resort”. It’s like, you know, you want something that’s going to keep you guessing, keep you on the edge of your seat, but also has interesting characters and a good story.
