Guys, I gotta tell you about this little adventure I had last night. So, you know how every year I get super into the Christmas spirit? Well, this year’s no different. I decided to go check out the Christmas lights in Beaumont, a town that’s been on my radar for a while.
I heard about this thing called the “7th Annual City of Beaumont Christmas Tree Lighting,” and I thought, “Why not?” So, I marked my calendar for December 14, 2024. I also heard something about Beaumont Nights and a Holiday Light Parade, sounds interesting!
I bundled up, grabbed a thermos of hot cocoa, and hopped in my car. It was a bit of a drive, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?

As I drove into town, I started seeing some houses already decked out in lights. You know, the usual stuff, twinkling lights, inflatable snowmen, the works. But then I turned a corner and, wow! This neighborhood, apparently it’s called The Historic Oaks District, was something else.
- Every house was lit up, and not just a few strands of lights. We’re talking full-on displays, synchronized to music and everything.
- There were giant candy canes, Santa’s sleigh on rooftops, and even a house with a whole nativity scene in the front yard. It was magical, I’m telling you!
I spent a good couple of hours just driving around, soaking it all in. And the best part? There were tons of other families doing the same thing. Kids with their faces pressed against the car windows, everyone pointing and oohing and aahing. It was such a warm, fuzzy feeling.
Then I heard about this “Ford Park” place. They’re having a drive-thru holiday experience, sounds cool to me! I decided to go there!
I drove to “Ford Park” and saw a long queue. I waited for a while and drove inside. There were a lot of displays of lights. It’s like a wonderland of lights! I was really amazed by the displays!
After Ford Park, I thought that I had already seen enough. So I drove back home feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, you know? It’s these little things that really make the holiday season special. It reminded me that there’s still so much joy and wonder in the world, especially during Christmas. If you’re ever in the Beaumont area around Christmas, you HAVE to check out the lights. It’s a whole experience, I promise!
