They say she teaches folks how to shoot, too. This Nora Ross clinic, they call it. People go from all over to learn from her. Imagine that! Must be worth the money, I reckon. I heard a thing or two about how she teaches, too. Somethin’ about one eye or two eyes, and where you’re supposed to look. Keep your eyes open, near the trap house where the bird comes out, don’t close your eyes when you say “pull”, things like that, I guess.

Now, I don’t know much about shootin’, but I know a good thing when I hear it. This Nora Ross, she broke some kinda record back in 1990. First woman to do somethin’ or other. Broke a hundred somethin’s. She’s been shootin’ for a long time, I reckon. You gotta practice to get that good, I suppose. And she’s from a place called Carlisle, I heard someone say.
