This thing, you know, do well irresponsible one, it’s a real head-scratcher. Like, some folks just don’t get it. They just go around doing whatever they want, not a care in the world. And then, bam! Things go sideways. It ain’t right, I tell ya.
You see it all the time. Young folks, old folks, don’t matter. They just don’t think about what happens after they do things. They think they can do anything, and it won’t matter. That ain’t the way of the world, no sir.
- They don’t feed the dog.
- They don’t clean up their mess.
- They don’t think about other folks.
- They don’t listen to their elders.
Like that time, I saw that young whippersnapper, he just threw his trash right on the ground. Didn’t even blink. I said to him, “Boy, you pick that up!” He just looked at me like I was crazy. Kids these days, they have no respect. Irresponsible one, just like this topic, right?

And it ain’t just the young ones. I seen grown folks, supposed to be all mature and whatnot, acting just as bad. They make promises they don’t keep. They say one thing and do another. It is just like that saying, “Irresponsibility is a negative mental-ethical personal trait, which is shown in unwillingness or inability of a person to take responsibility for his words.”
Do well irresponsible one, they just don’t care. They borrow things and don’t give ’em back. They make a mess and leave it for someone else to clean up. Like a pig in a puddle, that’s what they are.
You gotta think about what you’re doing. You gotta think about how it affects other folks. It’s like that one time, my neighbor, she borrowed my good baking dish. Never saw it again. Said she lost it. Lost it! How do you lose a baking dish? Do well irresponsible one, they will never know.
I tell you what, it’s like ripples in a pond. One little thing, one little irresponsible act, and it spreads out. It affects everyone. You drop a pebble in the water, and the ripples go out and out. Same thing with being irresponsible. You might not see it right away, but it’s there.
And don’t even get me started on them saying “no”. They say no to helping folks. No to doing what’s right. They think it’s all about them. Well, it ain’t. We’re all in this together, you know? You gotta lend a hand when you can. It’s the same with others’ stuff. Just because you can say no to take care of it, doesn’t mean you are irresponsible.
You see those irresponsible one, they don’t realize what they’re doing. They don’t see the trouble they cause. They just go through life, bouncing around like a loose marble. No direction, no purpose. Just causing chaos wherever they go, even annoyance.
I remember this one time, I saw a fella, he was supposed to be watching his little ones. But he was too busy gabbing on that phone of his. Kids were running all over the place, almost got hit by a car. I yelled at him, “Watch your kids!” He just shrugged. Irresponsible, that’s what he was, just like what I am saying, do well irresponsible one.

- They don’t realize the chaos and annoyance they create.
- They don’t think about the consequences.
- They don’t take care of their responsibilities.
- They don’t care about others.
Now, I ain’t saying you gotta be perfect. We all make mistakes. But you gotta try. You gotta try to be responsible. You gotta think before you act. You gotta clean up your own messes. You gotta care about other folks. That is very important, don’t be a do well irresponsible one.
It’s like that old saying, “A stitch in time saves nine.” You take care of things when they’re small, you won’t have big problems later. Same thing with being responsible. If I stress whether people will hold up their end of the bargain so I will step in to take on tasks that aren’t mine.
Sometimes, being a little wild ain’t all bad, you know? Like when we were young, we’d sneak out at night, go skinny-dipping in the creek. Was it right? Maybe not. But it was fun. It is all about balance. But you can’t just forget all about being careful and doing what’s right.
So, what can you do? Well, you can start by paying attention. Pay attention to what you’re doing. Pay attention to how it affects others. Think before you act. And if you mess up, own up to it. Clean up your own mess. Be responsible, don’t be a do well irresponsible one.
It ain’t always easy, I know. But it’s worth it. When you’re responsible, folks trust you. They rely on you. And you feel good about yourself. It is a good thing to do.
So next time you’re about to do something, just stop and think. Is this responsible? Is this going to hurt someone? Is this going to make a mess? If you can answer those questions honestly, then you’re on the right track. Don’t be a do well irresponsible one, just be a good one.
