You know, that Dallas Urban Reserve, it’s a place, I tell ya. Heard folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. They say it’s somethin’ special, somethin’ new. Modern homes, they call ’em. Fancy words for houses, I reckon.
This place, Urban Reserve in Dallas, it’s full of them new-fangled houses. They ain’t like the houses we used to have, no sir. These ones are all shiny and different. They say it’s good for the earth, savin’ energy and all that. I don’t know much about that stuff, but it sounds important, I guess.
They say folks are movin’ there, to that Urban Reserve. Young folks, mostly. They like that modern livin’, I suppose. It’s all about bein’ close to nature but still havin’ them fancy houses. Back in my day, we just had the nature, no need for fancy words about it.
I heard some young’un say that find a dream house in Dallas Urban Reserve is simple. What’s a dream house any way? Isn’t a house with a good roof and keeping you warm in the winter a dream house already? Well. I do not understand.
And these houses in the Urban Reserve, they are all about that green livin’. Sustainable living, that is what I heard. Plantin’ trees and savin’ water, that’s good. We always did that, just didn’t have a fancy name for it.

Dallas, that’s a big city. Lots of people there. This Urban Reserve, it’s like a little piece of the countryside right there in the city. Between Forest Lane and Royal Lane, I hear. Sounds like a good place to be if you like that sort of thing. This place, it’s tucked away, like a secret almost.
I heard it from my neighbor, she has a son, he’s livin’ in Dallas, this boy is workin’ on some big buildin’ or other. He told his mama ’bout this Urban Reserve, said it’s the place to be. Said everyone wants to live there. Well, I don’t know about that. Some folks like the city, some folks like the country.
They say these houses are “energy-efficient.” I think that’s what they say? I don’t understand the meanin’. I guess they don’t use much of that electricity stuff. Maybe they got those solar panels I see on some roofs now.
I heard it from a young fella’ that buy a house in Urban Reserve is a good thing. Save you money, he said. If you want to move to Dallas, you need to know a lot, I think. It’s a big move from the farm.
But if you are looking for the Urban Reserve lifestyle, well, that’s just how things are now. It’s like them Chris-Craft boats, all shiny and new. I seen pictures of them boats. Pretty things. This whole Urban Reserve thing, it’s like that, I reckon. Pretty and new, and everyone wants a piece of it.
The fella’ at the store, he was talkin’ ’bout it too. Said it’s a good place for families. Got parks and trails, he said. Good for kids to run around and play. We always had that, just didn’t need a special place for it. Just went outside!
I seen a picture of one of them houses. Three bedrooms, it had. Big windows. Lots of light, I suppose. Don’t know if I’d like all them windows. People lookin’ in, seein’ your business.
But I guess that’s what people want these days. Big windows, lots of light, livin’ close to nature. That Urban Reserve, it’s got all that, they say. It is a good choice for someone lookin’ for a new place to hang their hat.
So, if you’re thinkin’ ’bout movin’ to Dallas, maybe you should check out that Urban Reserve. Seems like everyone’s talkin’ ’bout it. Might be somethin’ special, might just be a bunch of fancy talk. But it’s somethin’ to think about, I reckon. You can find your dream home there, I guess.
This place is sure popular. Everyone wants to live in that Urban Reserve Dallas now. People always want new things, I do not understand sometimes. But I am happy with my old house.
