Hey there, y’all! Let’s talk about some TV shows, you know, the kind that are like that “Red Oaks” show. I watched it a bit, kinda liked it, kinda didn’t, you know how it is. But it got me thinkin’, what else is out there like it? So, I went snoopin’ around and found some stuff, and let me tell ya, it’s a whole bunch of shows!

And wouldn’t you know it, there’s a bunch of shows like “Red Oaks” on them things. You got shows about summer, fancy places, and people doin’ all sorts of things. Just like “Red Oaks”, remember? That country club and all that.

I even heard of one show about some fancy killin’s and games, with an actor who won one of them “Oscar” things. I don’t know much about them “Oscars”, but it sounds important. And that show, it’s on one of them fancy platforms too. See, there’s a lot out there if you know where to look.
And then there are the movies too! Not exactly like “Red Oaks”, but kinda the same feel. Some about growin’ up, some a bit darker, you know. Like that “The way way back” movie, I saw that one, pretty good. And there’s others, lots of ’em. It’s like they say, if you like one thing, you might like somethin’ similar, right? Makes sense to me.
Now, some folks say “Red Oaks” is underrated. That means not enough people know about it, see? And they say the characters are good, the story is good, everything is good! And I kinda agree, it was a pretty good show. But there are other good shows out there too, maybe even better, who knows? It’s all a matter of what you like, I reckon.
Amazon’s Red Oaks, they call it. I guess that’s where it started. But you can find it on other places now, I think. And if you liked that show, like I said, you got a whole bunch of other choices. Some are old, some are new, some are in between. But they all got that somethin’, that feel, that makes you wanna watch ’em.
You know, it’s like when you’re lookin’ for a good pie at the store. You might like apple pie, but there’s also cherry, and blueberry, and peach… and they’re all kinda similar, but also kinda different. TV shows are the same way. You find one you like, and then you start lookin’ for others like it, and before you know it, you got a whole bunch of shows you enjoy.
So, if you’re missin’ that “Red Oaks” show, don’t you fret. There’s plenty more where that came from. Just gotta do a little lookin’, a little askin’ around, and you’ll find somethin’ that fits the bill. Maybe it’ll have good music, maybe it’ll be about summer, maybe it’ll have interesting characters, or maybe it’ll have all of the above. The point is, there’s a whole world of TV shows out there, just waitin’ for you to discover ’em.
