Alright, alright, let’s gab a bit about this here… uh… “where is it cosmetics made” thing. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like somethin’ them city folk would ask.
Where them fancy face paints come from? That’s what we’re tryin’ to figure out, right? Well, I heard tell of some company called “IT Cosmetics.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in a big ol’ city store, all shiny and new.
Now, this IT Cosmetics, it wasn’t always some big shot. Started way back in 2008, in a little bitty apartment in California. Can you believe it? Some gal, Jamie somethin’-or-other, she was on the TV, readin’ the news. But she had herself some troubles with her looks, ya know? Skin problems, eyebrows lookin’ sparse… the kinda stuff that makes a gal feel… well, not so purdy.

So, this Jamie, she couldn’t find no makeup that worked for her. Made her mad, I reckon. But then she got to thinkin’, “Why not make my own?” And that’s how IT Cosmetics was born, outta that little apartment. Just goes to show ya, anyone can do somethin’ if they set their mind to it.

Now, where do they make all that stuff now? That’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? I heard some folks sayin’ it’s made in Korea. Yeah, that place way across the ocean. They make all sorts of things over there, seems like. And they say this here “IT cc cream” stuff is real good for old skin. Covers up all them wrinkles and spots, they say. Makes ya look young again, or so the story goes. It feels like that regular ol’ foundation stuff, ya know, the kind you slap on your face to make it all one color.
But then I heard other folks sayin’ some of it’s made in China. Or maybe somewhere else entirely. It’s hard to keep track, all these places. See, this big company, L’Oreal, they own IT Cosmetics now. Big ol’ company, they got factories all over the place, I betcha. So, it could be made anywhere, really. They just ship it all over the world, and folks buy it up.
Makeup, makeup, where does it come from? It ain’t just this IT Cosmetics, ya know. Makeup’s been around for ages. Way, way back, even before my time! I heard tell that them Egyptians, way back in the olden days, they were the first ones to use makeup. Men and women both, painted their faces and eyes and such. Can you imagine? Them fellas with paint on their faces! Used stuff like copper and lead, can ya believe it? Nowadays they say that stuff’s poison, but back then, they didn’t know no better. They just wanted to look good, I guess. Just like folks today.
Found some of that makeup stuff in them old tombs, they did. Pharaohs and such, buried with their pots of paint and whatnot. Guess they wanted to look good even in the afterlife. Shows ya, vanity ain’t nothin’ new.
So, this makeup, it started way back then, and it’s just kept on goin’. All sorts of different kinds, all sorts of different places makin’ it. From them fancy department stores to the little shops down the street, it’s everywhere you look. And this IT Cosmetics, well, it’s just one little piece of the puzzle. It started small, with one woman’s troubles, and now it’s a big ol’ company, sellin’ makeup all over the world. Made in Korea, maybe China, maybe somewhere else… It’s hard to say for sure. But one thing’s for certain, folks sure do love their makeup, wherever it comes from.
Now, if you wanna know for sure where somethin’s made, you gotta look at the box, see? They usually print it right there, in little bitty letters. “Made in…” this place or that. But sometimes, they make it tricky, ya know? Say somethin’ like “manufactured for” or “distributed by.” That don’t tell ya nothin’. You gotta look for the “made in” part. That’s the truth of it, right there.

So, where is IT Cosmetics made? Well, like I said, it ain’t so simple. Some of it’s Korea, maybe some China, and who knows where else. But the important thing ain’t where it’s made, I reckon. It’s whether it works, right? If it makes ya feel good, if it makes ya look purdy… well, that’s all that matters, ain’t it?
And that’s all I got to say about that. Time for me to go make some supper. All this talk about makeup is makin’ me hungry!
